Platform Performance Flooring Systems, the new identity for FloorPrep by Dependable, entered 2026 with a renewed focus on delivering complete flooring systems, stronger contractor support, and expanded national sales leadership.

At a time when many manufacturers are scaling back, Platform is increasing its investment in product development, technical support, and field sales to help contractors install reliable, high-performance flooring systems from the subfloor up.

“2025 was a transition year for us,” said Alex Keene, Vice President of Operations at Keene Inc. “We strengthened our leadership and technical support to better serve today’s flooring professionals. Now we’re building on that foundation to deliver a true system approach—products that work together to create dependable installations.”

One Connected System: Subfloor to Shower

Platform’s strategy also strengthens integration with Compotite waterproofing systems and Keene Building Products, creating a more complete ecosystem of solutions for flooring and tile professionals.

This expanded lineup gives contractors and architects access to coordinated products for:

• Moisture mitigation
• Self-leveling underlayments
• Tile uncoupling systems
• Shower waterproofing

For multifamily architects and specifiers, the goal is simple: fewer compatibility issues, better performance, and more reliable installations.

New Training Center to Support Installers

To further support the industry, Platform is expanding its commitment to contractor education.

A new training center in Cleveland, Ohio is open as of April, 2026. The facility is now available to host hands-on installation training and technical education for contractors, distributors, and installers.

Additional training centers are planned for New York and Florida as part of a national rollout.
